Distribution transformers are important components of substations, and oil-immersed transformers are generally installed in separate transformer rooms.
Relying on oil as the cooling medium, such as oil-immersed self-cooling, oil-immersed air cooling, oil-immersed water cooling and forced oil circulation, etc. Generally, the main transformers of booster stations are oil-immersed, with a transformation ratio of 20KV/500KV, or 20KV/220KV. Generally, power plants are used to drive equipment with their own loads (such as coal mills, induced draft fans, air supply fans, circulating water pumps, etc.) The factory transformer is also an oil-immersed transformer, and its transformation ratio is 20KV/6KV.
Oil-immersed transformers are fully oil-filled and sealed. The corrugated oil tank shell adapts to the expansion of oil with its own elasticity and is a permanently sealed oil tank. Oil-immersed transformers have been widely used in various power distribution equipment.

1. After long-distance transportation, the transformer will be subject to large vibrations and needs to be inspected. The inspection of the transformer body is divided into hanging core and hanging cover. Regardless of the hanging core or the hanging cover, the inspection content is the same. The core inspection should be completed within one working day, speeding up the inspection process.
2. Take the core lifting inspection as an example: ⑴ The core lifting of the transformer should be carried out indoors. If there is a tent outdoors, core lifting is prohibited to prevent rain, snow, fog, sand and other bad weather. ⑵ The temperature of the hanging core must not be lower than zero in winter, otherwise the temperature of the transformer will be raised so that the iron core temperature is 10°C higher than the ambient temperature. ⑶ The shorter the time the iron core is exposed to the air, the better. When the relative humidity is 65%, it should not exceed 16 hours. When the relative humidity is 25%, it shall not exceed 12 hours, and the calculation time is from the beginning of oil draining to the end of oil filling. ⑷ When the relative humidity of the weather exceeds 75%, core hanging inspection is not allowed. ⑸ During the inspection of the lifting core, special attention should be paid to preventing parts and tools from falling into the fuel tank.
