The no-load loss in the transformer loss, that is, the iron loss, mainly occurs in the transformer core lamination. It is mainly caused by the hysteresis and eddy current generated by the alternating magnetic lines of force passing through the core. The earliest material used for the transformer core was soft wrought iron that was easy to magnetize and demagnetize. The transformer core was made of iron wires rather than a whole piece of iron. In order to overcome the magnetic resistance produced by periodic magnetization in the magnetic circuit losses and eddy currents generated by the alternating magnetic flux in the core. The iron core made of wire harness can effectively reduce the cross-sectional area of the eddy current path.
