Three-phase dry-type transformer principle
The principle of dry-type transformers is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When current passes through the high-voltage winding, an induced potential is generated in the low-voltage winding, thereby achieving voltage conversion. Since air is used as the insulating medium, there are no problems such as oil leakage or corrosion.
Three-phase dry-type transformer function
Dry-type distribution transformers are mainly used to reduce the voltage of high-voltage transmission lines to the lower voltage required by the distribution system to meet the needs of domestic, industrial and commercial electricity. Additionally, it can be used in applications such as voltage regulation, phase conversion, and power conversion.
